It is possible for every Christian to become a man of God. In
ourselves, however, we are absolutely unable and inadequate even to be called men of God. Nevertheless, we can gradually achieve the standard accepted by God which is revealed in His word, by exercising the divine life that dwells in us.
The emphasis of this book is not the doctrine, but the experience with
God which will enable every thirsty Christian to become a genuine and
useful man of God.
