TITLE 1 — DEVOTIONAL: THE CHURCH LIFE, AN OASIS IN THE DESERT
The church life on earth is like an oasis in the desert wherever it is found. This is why we can say that wherever there is the church life, there is great joy.
TITLE 2 — BOOK
Since the days of Abraham, God has been seeking men and women who are willing to be governed by His word, so that He may restore His rule among the nations.
The faith that pleases God is the faith that hears, believes, and obeys. This was true of Abraham. When he heard the divine voice, he obeyed. His story reveals the path that every child of God is called to walk: leaving the old life behind, following the Lord, making choices that draw us closer to God, surrendering ourselves to Him so that we may grow in life and take part in the building up of the church. Through the church, God will fulfill His eternal purpose: that Christ may be the Head over all things, both in heaven and on earth.
This publication is an invitation to return to the beginning—to the God who speaks and accomplishes His purpose through His word.
